Our Golden Square shop is the beating heart of our business. Our store is a mecca for people looking for the finest in modern cycling equipment, from custom track frames to performance road bikes. Our staff can provide advice on cycling specific clothing or parts. Customers can select from one of the largest range of bags, shoes, jerseys or helmets in London, including many brands available only from Kinoko Cycles.
Downstairs is our temple to cycling componentry. You’ll be surrounded by frames from some of the finest builders in the world, and all the parts you need to build up in to your ideal bike. Our staff have a wide interest in virtually every type of cycling and an almost encyclopedic knowledge of bike parts, as well as stocking everything from vintage Campagnolo to modern Dura Ace. We’re confident we always match the customer up with the best bike for them.
Our on-site workshop is designed to fix any problem. Our mechanics keep all sorts of cyclists on the road all throughout the year as well as building all of the custom bikes and wheels that leave the shop.
Launched in 2006 against the kaleidoscopic backdrop and unique aesthetic of the competitive track racing and custom bike scene in Japan, we started out as Tokyo Fixed, a web-based shop offering top quality bike products and apparel aimed at appealing to the serious bike enthusiast – wherever they are in the world.
Opening our London shop in Soho in 2009 has allowed us to build on our ambitions and focus in squarely on what we love the most – building beautiful custom bikes. With a penchant for those lesser known, hard to find and less ‘commercial’ parts, we source products from what we believe to be some of the finest brands on the planet. With a cool, admiring eye on high quality products, conscientiously designed and with a passion for marrying together both style and function, we take our love of bikes, skills and experience to help bring our customers’ bespoke-build dreams into shining life.
In 2013 we opened our flagship store – Kinoko Custom Cycles. Situated in the centre of Soho, Kinoko Custom Cycles is the product of everything we love about cycling. Displaying some of the finest custom bikes in exisence, alongside the fastest performance road bikes in the market, we offer a unique selection of brands for men and women. From commuters and weekend riders to bike racers, Kinoko Custom Cycles is a haven for all things cycling, off and on the bike.
I visited this fantastic shop on the 11th may, the layout of the shop was incredible. They had a lot to offer, the amount high spec equipment was great to see. i took photographs of the wall displays and a few of the custom bikes they had on offer
